It’s not enough to just say “I want to help people make money online” — you need to narrow it down so your message actually connects with the right people.

Think of it like this:

  • Broad niche → “Help people make money online.”

  • Who you want to help → “Help working moms make money online.”

  • What you want to help them do → “Help working moms stop living paycheck-to-paycheck.”

  • Final defined niche → “Helping working moms escape living paycheck-to-paycheck by monetizing their social media with digital products.”

See the difference? The more specific you get, the stronger and clearer your message becomes.

Once you’ve chosen your niche, you need to fine tune your target audience — the exact people you want to help.

Ask yourself:

  • What’s their gender?

  • How old are they?

  • Where do they live?

  • What do they do?

  • What are their hobbies?

  • What are their goals?

  • What do they need from you?

  • How could they feel seen or heard?

  • What are their pain points?

When you know your people, you can speak directly to them with content that makes them feel seen and understood. That’s how you build instant trust and connection.


STEP 5: CREATE A FREEBIE/LEAD MAGNET 📚

Freebies aren’t just a way to grow your email list—they’re how you earn your audience’s trust before they ever give you a dime.

How to use StanStore to sell freebies, digital products and promote affiliate links on autopilot

1. Freebies & Lead Magnets

It is VERY important to upload your free digital product under digital product and NOT the lead magnet section. The reason for this is that with the digital product button, you get a unique URL for your digital product, which makes it way more sharable in general. If you choose the lead magnet option, you cannot have a URL for your product.

As well, you need to have a URL to your product when setting up Auto DM's. So if you upload it as a lead magnet, you will not get a URL and you won't be able to automate sending out your freebie.

Step-by-step

  1. Create your freebie

  2. Go to add product and choose digital product

  3. On the thumbnail tab, make sure to use the call out instead of button option

  4. Add a thumbnail, title, short description and button title

  5. On the checkout tab, write your product title and an in depth description of your product (what it is, what it teaches, who it's for, etc)

  6. Set your price (always set to $0 for freebies)

  7. Make sure to keep name and email collected

  8. Upload your digital product as a PDF

  9. In the options tab, you can customize the confirmation email if you wish. DO NOT delete the customer name and product file

2. Paid Digital Products

How to add one:

  1. Create your product or purchase a done-for-you product

  2. Connect Stripe or PayPal in settings

  3. Go to add product and choose digital product

  4. On the thumbnail tab, make sure to use the call out instead of button option

  5. Add a thumbnail, title, short description and button title

  6. On the checkout tab, write your product title and an in depth description of your product (what it is, what it teaches, who it's for, etc)

  7. Set your price (tip: products ending in 7 sell better. Think $7, $17, $27, $47 or $97, $197, $497)

  8. Make sure to keep name and email collected

  9. Upload your digital product as a PDF

  10. In the options tab, you can customize the confirmation email if you wish. DO NOT delete the customer name and product file
